Elias Lambros is a Senior Vice President and Chief Internal Auditor at Metropolitan Commercial Bank. Previously, he was an audit partner at KPMG for more than 26 years.
Throughout his career, Elias has primarily focused on financial institutions, serving clients in the banking, broker-dealers, real estate, investment management and fund sectors. At KMPG, he focused on serving public company audit engagements and was credentialed as an SEC reviewing partner, which designation distinguished his commitment to audit quality and technical competencies.
Elias holds a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Binghamton University and a Masters of Science in Taxation from Long Island University. Elias is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York.
Elias is committed to increasing awareness, volunteerism, and sponsorship of Special Olympics New York in the NYC area. This commitment is fueled by Elias’ passion to further the organization’s goals, including the expansion of its downstate presence and services to athletes, coaches, and volunteers.
