Christopher A. Kus, MD, MPH

“I am honored to serve on the board, so that I can help to provide great sports experiences for children and adolescents with Intellectual Disabilities.”

Dr. Kus is the Associate Medical Director of the Division of Family Health within the New York State Department of Health. He provides leadership for New York State child and adolescent health activities. Dr. Kus worked in child development and public health in New Hampshire and Vermont before coming to New York in 1993. He is a board-certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  Dr. Kus is a Past-President of the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs (AMCHP).  He has been involved in Child Death Review and Maternal Mortality Review efforts.
