May ONE Mile

May 1 @ 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM EDT

Register Today and get a head start on recruiting friends, family and colleagues to join you. This annual walk for inclusion aims to bring our Special Olympics New York community together, even when we are apart.

It will be held (virtually) Saturday, May 1 at 1 p.m.

This event has no specific location, so you can pick any spot that’s convenient for you. This could be in your neighborhood, a local park or even at the mall.

Some ideas to get you started …

Make it fun! Your team could count steps between now and then as a contest for bragging rights. Start planning what to wear to be in the running for best dressed.

Take charge and raise money. Register with a suggested donation of $25 and ask for additional support from friends and family. See if your employer will match gifts. You could even get people to sponsor your steps. It’s all for a good cause.

All proceeds from the May ONE Mile benefit Special Olympics New York athletes in your local community.

Thank you for your support!
